KK Potteries

In the Words of Mr. Sibnath Paul,
Present Owner of KK Potteries

Our Story

“Our journey began in 1949 when my grandfather Late Jatindernath Paul & my father, Late K.C. Paul, first brought Mangalore tiles to this region, planting the seeds of what would flourish into KK Potteries. Seven decades ago, he didn’t just start a business—he ignited a legacy built on unwavering quality, traditional craftsmanship, and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence.

Growing up surrounded by clay and kilns, I witnessed firsthand the passion and dedication that defined our family’s commitment to terracotta craftsmanship. My elder brother, Late Madhusudan Paul, embodied this spirit of innovation remarkably. In 2020, he made history by introducing decorative clay tiles to West Bengal, forever transforming the architectural and design landscape of our state. His vision brought elegance and artistic expression to countless homes and buildings.

Today, as we continue this proud tradition, we’re thrilled to be pioneers once again—introducing Jaali clay tiles to West Bengal for the first time. These intricately designed tiles represent our commitment to merging timeless artistry with contemporary aesthetics.
Three generations, seventy-five years, and one steadfast promise: to craft terracotta products that don’t just build structures, but create lasting legacies. This is our family’s story—this is KK Potteries.”
